Liability

The tenant must treat the house, its content and parking garage with care and respect.

The tenant must take into account the local residents regarding noise pollution.

To avoid misunderstandings, the tenant will report the damage to the landlord or his local representative as soon as possible upon arrival. So that he has the opportunity to check this himself.

Please also report the damage caused by yourself to the landlord as soon as possible.

The tenant must be insured for damage to third parties such as civil liability insurance (family insurance).

The owner cannot be held liable for loss or theft, nor for damage or injury of any kind, caused to tenants of the holiday home.

The tenant does not move furniture such as beds, sofas, cupboards, etc

Final cleaning and the end of the stay

Cleaning after departure of the holiday home is not included in the price, is mandatory and costs 70 €.

The rented holiday apartment must always be left tidy after your stay. This means:

Tidying up the house, putting everything back in place, emptying trash cans and garbage cans, emptying dishwasher and refrigerator, cleaning up the kitchen sink, putting clean dishes in the cupboard, ...


The thermostat is programmed at day temperature 21° and night temperature 18°. Please leave it this way.

In short, leave the house neat and broom clean.

The tenant respects the arrival and departure hours. You are supposed to arrive and stay in a neat holiday home. Therefore, there must be sufficient time in between the departure of the previous guests and the arrival of the new guests.


The tenant closes the windows and doors upon departure. Sometimes the apartment is not rented immediately after and leaving windows open costs money.


SMOKING is not allowed in the entire holiday home, however it is possible outside on the terrace.

Pets

We love animals very much, but for practical and hygienic reasons, we cannot admit them.

Parties and visits

The holiday home can under no circumstances be used for parties. Stay of more than 4 people (plus baby) is not allowed, except after approval of the owner.

Bed linen

Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels can be brought by the tenant. Down blankets and pillows are provided. The beds (1 x 160 cm and 1 x 150 cm) have a mattress protector. It has to be on the beds at all times. There is also a spare available.

If you do not wish to bring your own linen, it is possible to rent. However, this must be requested and paid at the time of booking.

  • Package towels (1 large and 2 small) 3€ (no wash cloths)
  • Bedding, per person 8€, so 16€ per bed
  • Kitchen towels 3 € for 3

Garbage

Because you are most likely not there on the day the garbage collection happens, you can deposit the waste, in your own bags (in stock at the apartment), in underground containers (1 €, 40 liters) in the following places: nearest Zeevillalaan and Coppietersstraat.

Keys

The keys are in a keysafe inside our letterbox in the entrance hall (Verheyden-Geerts 10/106) and the code will be sent to you one day prior to your arrival.  You can put them back in the safe when you leave.

If linen was rented, this can simply be left folded in the apartment.

Car park

The entrance is located around the corner on the Ringlaan. You can see the building of the apartment on the right. Drive the car down and stop in front of the gate. Someone gets out and opens the small door with the key to the apartment. Once inside, press the big button on the left side of the port. The parking lot is number 22. Do not use the bracket!

Bicycle storage

Underground bicycle storage can be used.

Grounds

A table and chairs can be placed on the terrace in front of the apartment, but there must always be enough space to let other people through. This must also be taken inside in the evening.ekst hier invullen...
